Will be celebrating a special brithday with a family group (10) in Ubud and am researching great restaurants - moderate price, including entertainment? But above all a memorable experience. Can you help?

HI, I agree Indus would be the pick, great view, and food, I was there in April and it as open, however may be not sure if open now, try emailing them. Enjoy your celebration.

It's Casa Luna thats closed for reno's, Indus is great, they do have music some nights another favorite of ours in Cafe des Artistes, Jazz Cafe is more relaxed and different types of music every night,Naughty Nuris is fun, it's pretty laid back in Ubud so not so many "party" places

Pundi Pundi,Bebek Bengil,Warung Enak,
Never eaten at Jazz Cafe but good venue for live music,they may charge you cover charge for band,if not dining there.
