What's the alcohol allowance into Bali per adult? I'm hoping i didn't just read that it was only 1 litre each!!! I've got a 4 litre cask of wine to take Cheers

You better take 3 litres out then or be prepared to pay more. It's not worth it, you can buy wine and spirits for a good price in Bali now.

Why on earth would you try to "get away' with taking prohibited amounts of anything to Bali? Surely Denpasar have made it very clear that they don't mess around at Customs. Go to the Bintang supermarket or similar and stock up there. When are you going? Where are you from?  And ... welcome to the Forum.

hey everyone! you know the amount of alcohol you bring back to aus is a limit of 2L? can you pay more and bring back more? i want to bring back or buy duty free in aus a 4L bottle of beam. but wont be able to if the limit is only 2L.
is there a way around it like can my partner and i put our 2L's together or do we have to bring back as two seperate people?? if that makes sence

Hey thanks for the info..My mom has been going to Bali for years and always takes the cask in her suitcase no problems...Naughty girl. I'm from Perth and going 27 September for 12 glorious nights!!!!

So does my wife only found it once didnt pay the just gave it to customs and said enjoy. His grin was about this big as well

what you mean take seperate flights? how would that help??? Are flights are already booked and paid for anyways

ShazD you can combine you and your old man's quota and as long as you don't exceed it you are ok. If you exceed the limit now you pay duty on the whole lot not just the excess as it was a few years ago.
